Message of Support from Natick Is United Following Bombings in Sri Lanka

Natick Is United stands in support of all who were killed or injured during the shocking and violent acts that took place in Sri Lanka during this past holy weekend. Our hearts go out to the hundreds of Christians who were targeted while attending mass or gathering for service on Easter Morning, and for those who were attacked in their hotels.

Our thoughts are with the people of Sri Lanka during this time of grief, and with the families and friends of the victims as they mourn the loss of their loved ones. We will continue to stand together and stand up for all people impacted by hate crimes of any kind.

We are united in our values, and clear in our vision of a community where we value differences, and everyone belongs.

  • We affirm and respect the fundamental value, dignity and shared humanity of all people.

  • We strive to be equitable, honest, open-minded, collaborative, and respectful in all our internal and external interactions.

  • We stand up for and stand with those who are targets of discrimination.

  • We model courage to create a community that practices anti-racism through action, advocacy, transformation, and accountability.

  • We celebrate and collaborate with others who share our commitment to our core mission and values, regardless of political or religious affiliation.
