At this meeting we will:

• Reground ourselves in why we came together in the first place: to protect those most impacted by the Executive Orders and to build a town where everyone belongs.

• Lay out NIU’s emerging work for 2026, including mutual aid, immigration protection, LGBTQIA+ safety and joy, legislative advocacy, and health equity.

• Listen deeply to your insights, questions, and hopes, and shape the next phase of the Community Action Project together.
