Children of Las Brisas is a coming-of-age documentary about three talented Venezuelan children from the impoverished Las Brisas neighborhood who strive to become professional musicians through the “El Sistema” music program. The film reveals their perseverance and resilience over 10 years as they struggle to achieve a better future. It is a story about the power of discipline and music as tools for survival. The film has won numerous, worldwide awards as well as accolades for producer Luisa De La Ville. In Spanish, with English subtitles.
