“We are on this planet for a short time...It all comes down to concern and compassion for each other...When we help to uplift one, we uplift everyone” Avery Sharpe
This concert features compositions from Avery Sharpe's new work, "I Am My Neighbors' Keeper," performed by a double quartet (including a string quartet). Music is laden with Jaz, Gospel, African, Blues and other influences.
All proceeds will support our neighbors through A Place to Turn Food Pantry, a food pantry that provides healthy, fresh food with dignity and respect.
There is no set ticket charge; we encourage you to purchase a donation ticket or donate at the concert. We suggest a donation of $30-80, more if you can, less as needed for your own well-being.
